The front depicts Christ, nimbate, with pallium and colobrium, seated on a throne, holding Book of Gospels, +EMMANOVHA around; IC-XC to sides. The back reads IS \ XS, bAS-ILE \ bASILE ("Jesus Christ King of Kings")in three lines. Great detail! Nice earthen deposits. Coin reference: SB 1836, Doc III D, Berk 953 for type. Coin itself measures 25 mm diameter. Encapsulated and certified by NGC! Archival slab measures 3.125" x 2.125" x 0.375”.
