Ancient Persia. Luristan, 10th-9th Century BCE. A rare bronze hair-ring, basically shaped like a small bracelet, the surface etched with elaborate solar and hatched-line motifs. Olive-green to deep red patina. This would have been used to crimp around long hair or a thick beard in preparation for battle. A very rare find!
