Ancient Greece. Illyria, Dyrrhachium, c. 150 BC. Silver Drachm Set in Custom .925 Silver Bezel with Italian Chain. Struck under magistrates Aristodamos and Tephilos, this silver drachm features a cow standing left, suckling her calf, with Greek inscription AΡIΣTOΔAMOΣ above / Reverse shows a double stellate “temple door” pattern, with Greek inscription ΔYΡ TEΦIΛOY around. Coin reference: Ceka 92; BMC 116-var. Set in a .925 silver bezel with 18-inch Italian silver chain. Total diameter 22mm (7/8”). Dark patina with nice highlights.
