The Certificate guarantees the product is Authentic. It does not list the person or company who collects them. They are collected off the coast of The Carolinas.

Why is it not black?

Some of the teeth are found all black and some are found this color. It depends on where the teeth were found and the type of sediment it was buried in when the tooth calcifies.
