Created to honor the fantastic work of our Mahouts in rearing and caring for the elephants, this unique blend brings together elephant-refined and non-elephant-refined coffee beans. After numerous trials and input from the Mahouts, we've crafted the perfect mix—balanced and exquisite, offering a new experience in Black Ivory Coffee.

Black Ivory Coffee is a socially responsible brand that benefits local communities and farmers. The coffee harvesting process supports villages and high school students in North-East Thailand who help clean and process the beans. This special Mahout's Blend also provides Mahouts with a steady income much higher than the traditional logging, tourism, or ceremonial work available to them.

The elephants live in villages in Thailand's Surin Province, where coffee cherries are transported from Chiang Mai. Only the sweetest cherries are selected for the elephants to consume and separate. After passing through the elephants' bodies, we sort, clean, and roast only the best beans to order. This completely natural process protects the environment while drawing out the unique and delicate flavors of the coffee.
