Being offered is this RARE 3 piece set from the 1969 C Federal Reserve New York series.
This set also contains a VERY RARE “000’ as the last 3 numbers on the last note of this set. So the note has a 5 digit serial number.
This is a highly sought after set. It has the original wood protector that kept the notes safe and secure during transportation to the banks. Plus it has the original end cap label.
When these “bricks” of notes made it to the banks they were opened and then all of this great history was discarded.
The end cap label has a lot of info printed on it:

B SERIES 1969. And the letter “C” is hand written on the label

It also has the letter “B” on both sides of the end cap label, which signifies New York.
Back then a brick of notes was 4000 notes. Modern era bricks are 1000 notes.
It has the end cap label from the “B” New York Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP).
It has the first note from the brick of 4000 notes. B 68432001 D.
It has the last note from the block of 4000 notes. B 6843600 D.
