The 2019 Trollop Sauvignon Blanc was designed to be as regal as the Badgerhound. Big tropical flavors roll out of the glass. Pineapple, cantaloupe and white peach are balanced by notes of lemon-lime notes and hints of lychee fruit. A smooth entry to the wine leads the way to flavors of Bartlett pear, orange, honeydew and lemon zest. This is very well balanced wine with moderate acidity and a nice creamy texture that will pair well with any summertime dish, and repeatedly invade any glass it meets.

It was originally created as a pet project, but it has quickly gained a cult following in select markets nationwide. One pour, and you’ll see why. The 2017 Badgerhound Zinfandel presents appealing aromas of crushed raspberries and blackberries are framed by vanilla and cigar box notes. This wine shows sweet concentrated fruit in the mouth with plenty of oak, tannins and acidity to balance the ripeness. The finish is long, rich and intense. This vintage should age well for the next 5 years and pairs great with barbecue dishes such as St. Louis-style ribs, Memphis pulled-pork and Texas-style brisket.

The 2019 Trollop Chardonnay is lightly oaked for a touch of rich buttery goodness without overpowering the world-class Green Valley fruit that makes this beautifully composed wine possible. Green Valley’s famously cool climate provides the perfect canvas for this varietal to reach its full potential, consistently producing some of the finest Chardonnays in the world.

Delicate yet bold, the 2018 Trollop Pinot Noir displays the nuance that makes Green Valley special. This wine opens with a striking, dark ruby red color in the glass. On the nose, you can expect inviting aromas of dark cherry, vanilla bean, plum, cola nut, strawberry, rhubarb and pomegranate. On the palate are flavors of allspice, cinnamon, and black cherry that intertwine with hints of truffle, earth and vanilla.

This Pinot displays a lovely, bright acidity that is perfectly balanced by velvety tannins and a long, satisfying finish.
