The Scanimation® Lamp works like a flipbook: a series of slightly different images are presented to the eye in rapid succession, creating the illusion of movement. This is the principle behind all motion picture inventions, including film and video. The Scanimation® lamp houses two internally illuminated, concentrically-disposed cylinders: a stationary outer Barrier Grid cylinder and a slowly rotating inner Picture cylinder.
What color horse?There are three colors of horses that rotate through the image pattern - a white horse, brown horse, and a black horse.
